I just wanted everyone's honest opinion on whether I have a good chance of making a competitive application to Cambridge? (lack of A*)
In GCSE I was in an inexperienced and underachieving school in which my grades were top 9%. I got;
English Lit A
English Lang A
Double science AA
In A2 I believe/highly confident I will be predicted A*A*A. Say I achieve that and my PS etc are all good, will I honestly stand a good chance of getting an offer from Cambridge to do law if everything else goes well?
Is it worth applying to Cambridge? Watch

I'm told that Cambridge don't focus all that much on GCSEs, but when they look at your GCSE grades, it will be in the context of how the rest of your school performed, so the fact that your grades (which are excellent anyway!) are so much higher than your school's average should put you in a decent position. What subject are you applying for?
