I am in year 10 and I got my report card today. I am fairly disappointed with my grades as I was aspiring to get mostly 7-9s. However, I ended up with,
    -history: 9
    -geography:8
    -Religious studies: 6
    -citizenship: 8
    - biology: 7
    -chemistry: 6
    -physics: 8
    - maths:5
    -English: 5
    -Art: 5
Is it ok if I'm getting these grades in year 10, or should I be working harder to achieve my goal.

I had the same but now grades are done by numbers I was predicted D’s in most subjects you’re in year 10 so your exams are about a year away but honestly you get what you put out of your revision I suggest starting now not loads just an hour a day. I was predicted pretty *****y grades but I came out with A’s and B’s and some c’s

Honestly, you can easily get them! Start revising NOW, i can't stress this enough, start going over every gcse topic you do and revise them religiously. Remember its never too soon to start revising, prepare yourself! Your grades are amazing actually, you could so easily get 9's

for my English mocks I was predicted a 3... I ended up with an 8. what u get in year 10 shouldn't define what you get in ur actual GCSEs. I'm in year 12 now

oh and I moved from 3 to 8 in the space of 3 months. the most important thing to do is to be familiar with the spec. thats so important for written based subjects.find out how the examiners want you to answer the questions- structure wise- and you should be good
