im in year 13 and study biology chemistry and maths. I got an A in maths last year and in the mocks got a B in chemistry and an E in biology. Why? because I didn't have a teacher for almost the whole year, when it came to the end of the year I just sort of revised but not really and ended up getting an E. This year I really want to improve my grade and in the small tests I have been improving so atm I am working on a C, I think it's because the teacher has changed, is there anyway I could get better at biology? I am trying past paper questions for the topics we've learnt this year and find doing them really helpful but my last year topics are extremely hard to do questions on because I just don't seem to understand any of it. Is there any advice anyone can give me?

biology is just rote learning, you've just got to memorise the whole text book, it's hard because there is so much content, but make sure you know the information back to front

Make and condense notes (preferably from two different reliable sources), and fill in any gaps in your knowledge. Do this by asking your teachers and classmates and also search the web. Then attempt exam Qs and add to your knowledge.

yeah, and use the specification (print it out cause a physical copy is better) when making notes so that you know what exactly you need to study
