    I’m exactly the same position as you, also going into Medicine with very average/low GCSEs so decided to do an EPQ about cancer research as that will be something I can talk about at interviews (if I get one) and it kind of relates to the medicine side of it.... predicted an A in it and it will get sent of February 2018

    I did an epq, and one university emailed be back asking for the title, which I assume is because they were interested in the topics. I would say do it. It prepares you for writing papers. I would suggest something medicine related, obviously. I recommened writing about phage therapy as an alternative to antibiotics, it's a very interesting field.
