Should I Live with my friends or Alone?

This has been a problem for me...

So. I currently live with 3 other girls who are my friends but I hate some of their habits. One has a boyfriend who is a dealer, so when he comes over the smell leaks into my room (I'm in Birmingham). Another brings guys back to her house, I'm not too keen of a series of randoms knowing where I live. Another is emotionally controlling, but not that bad apart from that. Don't get me wrong, I love them but I confused on whether I should live with them again next year.

Am I fussing over little things or should I live alone?

With living alone aswell, I'm worried (because I'm pretty anti) that I won't socialise or will get lonely.. I'm also worried about living with new people and them being awful.

HELP!

You worry a lot. Do you know anyone else in a studio?

You are just gong to have to draw up a pros and cons lists and bear in mind your own personality and whats important for you. You arent that far into tterm yet, so you dont have to make a decision till later.

Possibly she could break up with the drugs dealer.
Unlikely you can put a control on people bringing back others.
You can try and combat the emotional control by just ignoring or avoiding, being more resolute or talking to her.

I would see how the term goes.
Have a look around at studios.
Work out the cost of it and if you can afford.
Also work on improving your social life, so if you did move, then you would have one.

For me the biggest issue would be cost and not living alone. Student flats are fine if you get along, but if you dont then not so good. Id prefer alone, but then im fine with my own company and can have a social life outside. Its different for everyone. Give it a bit of time and look into studios, but also try and improve the here and now.

Hey. Thanks for the advice, I think it would be a nice change for me to have my own place, especially in my 3rd year (I'm 2nd year now). She probably won't break up with her boyfriend tbh but I'm too uninterested to listen to their back and forth. haha.

Any I will definitely take your advice on board

Thought you were a fresher, then I would go for alone. get a job in the summer to pay for the extra. Non compatible flatmates are a distraction.
