    Are you at university? If you are, consider joining some societies or clubs.

    If you have a job, then socialise with your colleagues over drinks after work.

    Perhaps you could find some new hobbies too, you'll make new friends in the process.

    I agree with UWS, if you're at uni, look into joining clubs & societies.

    You could join also join clubs based on your interests and also see what voluntary activities their are on in your local area via your library.

    You could also join meet up groups online, this could anything, let's say a walking group, a cinema group etc.
