I have received an email from my university about the tuition fees not being paid, and when I login into my student finance account nothing about my student loan appears. However, I did receive the letters of my application form being assessed. I would like to know what is happening.

    Hi claritarodero,

I assume that you are referring to an application for the 2017/18 academic year, have you applied as a home student for a Tuition Fee Loan (TFL) and Maintenance Loan (ML) or did you just apply as a EU student for TFL only?

If you can see a current application on your online account then you can check the status of your application on there and if anything else was outstanding you would usually see this on your To Do List and can check the letters and emails section to see if we have sent out any recent correspondence for this.

If you can't see any current applications on your online account then I would recommend giving us a call to look into this further.

If applying as a home student you would need to call us on 0300 100 0607 (lines are open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 8.00pm and between 9.00am and 4.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Local call rates apply) or for an EU application call 0141 243 3570 (Open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 8.00pm).

    Thanks

    Laura
