I've attempted the practical test four times now, every time I failed it's for something different so I don't think it's because I'm a bad driver. I just cave under pressure and am generally quite an anxious person anyway.

Everytime I take the test again I feel like the stakes are higher and there's more pressure to pass from parents etc. Probably gon try some herbal remedies or I something I need anything. Any tips on how to calm down when I actually do it?

I had the same problem. I failed my first test within the first 5 minutes but the rest went absolutely fine! Maybe pretend that you've already failed it to take the pressure off the rest of the test if that makes sense? Don't worry, you'll pass eventually!

Failed my first test today and had rescue remedy drops and pastels,, they didn't work it felt as though I had forgot everything because of my nerves... my legs were doing what they wanted.. I failed within the first 5 minutes.. waiting to turn right.. a car flashed to let me go and as I went to pull off the car that flashed did too.. my examiner felt he needed to brake and I got all got and bothered and I knew I had failed.. after that was a blurr,, I felt I needed to get back to the test centre and get it over and done with. I had a serious fault and 11 minors. I came home and re booked straight the way.. next time I need to calm my bloody nerves, my driving lessons are fine and my manouveres are ok I just need to calm it but how? My legs were like jelly it's horrible.

I passed my 2nd attempt yesterday I used the rescue remedy and gum both times but this time I used more of it, also ate a banana, mars bar and had 1 paracetamol before. I do think it helped I was nervous but not to the point that I couldn’t concentrate properly. I did find I was more nervous than the first time too, I think every time you take it you feel more and more nervous. Try not to tell many people either that puts pressure on I didn’t tell anyone this time not one person. Good luck 😌
