We are given 7 weeks to show our teachers why we deserve a higher UCAS grade if we want a higher grade I was away for about 5 weeks because I had the chicken pox. I want a B for English Literature however I have been consistently getting C’s however my teacher thinks I can get a B and asked me to talk to my head of year for a re appeal and said that I would do 3 more essays for her and if u get B’s she’ll move me up. My head of year out right said no and said that having aspirations is good but won’t always happen. He hasn’t even seen my work ethic or my English work to know. What should I do?

Appeal yourself or get your parents to speak to the headteacher.

    1. Its a joke they won give an allowance for being off ill.
    2. ts a joke they wont let you do the three essays.
    3. Its common for schools to give 1 grade above whatever was in mocks.
    4. They shouldnt ignore your teacher.

Just make an official appeal, but I would get parents involved so he doesnt just dismiss you. They shouldnt be involved as they have already made their mind up. It should be the head.
