    So i'm in yr 12 doing bio chem and history , i'm doing ok with bio and history but in chemistry i keep getting c/d 's in homework and end of topics . It's not that i find the tests hard i just keep making silly mistakes , is this normal ? any tips on how to improve

    Yeah this is normal, just take a few practice tests and don't panic

    idk whats wrong with me , we did a test on amount of substances (empirical formula , water crystallization , moles) my method is spot on but then i go and put down the wrong number in one of the steps or something

    You shouldn't panic and just take things easy, make sure you look through your test afterwards
    Hope this helps

    It could just be youre nervous. Try and relax, dont worry about making mistakes that much, but dont be reckless.

    Check your answer afterwards (if you have enough time) and just check through each stage of your working, because you should get some method marks if you accidentally put the wrong number but all the other working is correct
