you know sometimes you get this negative emotional feeling associated with certain places/location, eg. your old sixth form or something else and you get this negative emotional feeling whenever you see it or remember it
can anyone relate? if yes, why is this we sometimes get this feeling and how to overcome it??

Experience it many times over so that the feeling of fear converts to the feeling of boredom. In your case, I'd say go the place that's causing you troubles and just keep going there repeatedly, and soon, it'll feel like a chore to go there and the negative emotions become bland emotions.
