Hi im currently in year 12 doing Maths, Further Maths ,Chemistry and History. Im thinking about doing maths or finance at university and so i want to get as good a grade as i possibly can in maths (hopefully an a*). Out of my subjects history will be the least beneficial to my degree and because im doing my maths a Level at the end of this year im thinking about dropping history. Will it matter that two of the subjects that im doing are maths and further maths? As i have heard that these are not always seen as 2 a levels.

Youve answered your own question. Check the entrance requirements for the courses you are interested in and that they will accept your three remaining A levels as sufficient. For most unis it will be ok,, but just check some do not see it as too narrow a selection just to be sure. They normally say so.
