Oxford History Aptitude Test (HAT) 2017

Just wondered if anyone else is taking this/has taken this and if so has any model answers? :smile:
There are model answers available on the website I think - I remember seeing ' good examples' and poor examples posted there

Yeah I think they got taken down, and I can't find them anywhere.

Yes think you are right, I had a look myself and can't find them now. Shame.
Thought it went well, lots to talk about but think I relied to heavily on examples on some questions

I also thought this year's HAT was easier than some the previous ones ( i'm looking at you 2008 HAT). First question was ok, think I wrote a kind of long first sentence. Essay question went well I think. I really found the last question very interesting, talked about the ideas of a communal society being beneficial, importance of an efficient society, marxist/ socialist ideas, some idea of gender equality, and equality amongst society. Probably some other stuff too.
