    Hello all,

I am doing four science and maths a levels and have no idea what I want to do for a degree. I've heard an EPQ is helpful to show independent study around your degree choice. But since I don't know what I want to go into, is it worth doing? Are the skills you develop through it really worth the time?
Also, if I want to go into an essay based degree for example Anthropology (since it doesn't have any subject requirements)- would an EPQ be evidence for essay writing skills?
I'm sorry if these questions are frequently asked but I didn't feel like I had an answer.

    Thanks!

I would recommend that you do it as it will prepare you for when you get assignments at uni. You'll be more used to researching, reviewing literature an writing an essay, and of course, the dreaded referencing!
