I'm having a hard time answering a few questions about Atonement up to Chapter 10 of the novel and was wondering if people could give me some ideas on answering them:
3.How does Cecilia’s preparation for the dinner party in chapter Nine compare to Robbie’s in chapter Eight. Consider the moods of the two characters and the way these are presented through structural as well as language features.
4. As a reader, how do you respond to Briony’s reaction to the letter she has opened?
5. Thinking of the novel as a whole so far, how does McEwan use the theme of misconception to create effect, engage the reader and drive the plot forward?
When can you expect yours?
