BTEC - Applying to Uni? - Mostly LEVEL 3 (National Extended Diploma) Watch

    Univeristy: UCL / Bristol (Not decided which i prefer yet)
    Course: Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
    GCSE grades: 11 GCSEs including maths & english and Level 2 BTEC in business + Merit in digital applications
    Entry requirements: ( UCL - D* D* D* ) (Bristol - D* D D + A in A-level Maths)
    Predictions: Already completed the course with D*D*D* + A in A-level Maths
    Other choices: Southampton / Durham / Manchester
    Other: Just have to work on my personal statement :'( ... the hardest thing ever!

    Oh wow! With your already existing triple d* grade and A prediction in maths, it sounds like you should definitely secure a place!!!


    Good luck on your personal statement! I only just finished mine yesterday, absolutely hated writing it!!

    Thanks! already have the A in maths also. I did it along side the BTEC course. No clue where to start with personal statement though. The main problem being I find it very difficult to say anything positive about myself. Honestly very tempted to use an online service but that feels a bit cheaty! >_<

    Anyway what are your uni plans?

    I have submitted still waiting for reference before going to UCAS for processing I’ve been waiting for this since last summer
