i have picked French for GCSE and it was worst decision of my school career. I cannot do the subject even though I do try my very best, it is just impossible. im stressing too much with the amount of work to do for my other subjects and French is not helping. I was wondering if I could drop this subject as its only the beginning of November and we started in September? I want to choose another option so bad

I'm in your position, except with Spanish, the new language GCSE's are just super difficult aren't they?? It depends on your school I think i'm not too sure, but my school doesn't allow us to drop subjects, only take foundation paper if really necessary-and even then we cannot take foundation for the core subjects ;/

Check with your school, the only thing that might scupper the change is your time table. You have to fill so many classes per day, so you may need to change the subject and not have free study periods.
