I applied for Bsc Physics at the end of September, and received a further information request on the 25th Oct asking for further information about maths UMS.

I've never heard of anyone getting this, is it normal? I thought only Cambridge asked for UMS.

Anyone else applying for Physics get a UMS request? Do you reckon it's a "bad" thing - ie I'm on the borderline for getting an offer- or not?

Hi there. It isn’t bad. It’s normal for the top courses to ask for your UMS scores. It’s because so many applicants have A grades at AS and A* A level predictions, so that alone is not enough for them to distinguish their applicants. So they look at UMS scores. Imperial do this too.
