I know they have such a bad name, but a huge reason I want to go to uni is to party and drink 24/7, am I getting the wrong impression of uni and am I in the wrong??

You could start now getting drunk now, to be honest. No need to waste time on A-Levels/BTECs. Plenty of universities which would be willing to take virtually anyone.

Okay, fair enough lol. But it's definitely something I need to do at uni...

And it's not really paying 9k a year lol, we all know it's not treated as a real debt

Nothing wrong with getting s**tfaced, but unless you've been saving money and/or your mummy and daddy are rich and will give you a lot of cash, you can't really do it constantly. Take it from a wannabe drunktard whose natural tendencies are inhibited by monetary concerns..

Lol defo no money from my parents, I do have a job however. I wonder if £8.50 an hour can finance a lot of alcohol??

If you're doing it for a decent number of hours, and have a maintenance loan to boot, probs yeah
