Is optometry available as an undergraduate course in Oxbridge because when I looked at the website, it didn't mention optometry as an undergraduate course?

If you're going for a highly vocational course like optometry it's going to make barely any difference which uni you go to, and in fact some ex-polys may have even better reputations than more traditionally prestigious universities.

As above, in general for the allied health professions the university name doesn't mean much - there is a deficit of suitably qualified practitioners in these fields, so you don't need to worry about getting a "brand name" to be able to work in that area.

Additionally, such vocationally oriented courses aren't offered at Oxbridge at all, as all their degrees are necessarily academic - even in areas which would seem on first glance to be vocational such as engineering, medicine, law, or architecture (Cambridge exclusive, that last one ).

However as Doonesbury said, Anglia Ruskin does offer an Optometry course which is based on the Cambridge campus - so you can enjoy Cambridge city life and style while studying for your desired career even though Cambridge itself does not offer it

    Nearly indeed.

Look up "Cambridge graduation ceremony" on YouTube and you'll find an ARU video as the 3rd result titled "
    Cambridge graduation ceremony (11am), 19 October 2016"

It's very common to see be-gowned ARU graduating students being photographed outside King's or similar.
