I'm going to apply for two courses at Birmingham but I've only recently considered applying through A2B. None of my family has been to university, I attend a non-selective state school and my household income is below £42,875.
Should I apply through A2B and if so would I have a decent chance of being accepted?
    Thanks.

If you meet the requirements then apply. Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Yes, unless you have been in care for 3 months post 14.

You can use the following 'Postcode Checker' to give you an idea of eligibility from your postcode. Normally we would expect Quintiles 1 - 3 as shown on the checker to indicate A2B eligibility.

Sorry I literally just read that a few minutes ago, my area has ratings of 3,2,3,3. The other thing is whether my school is a "partner school or college". I've emailed my year leader about applying through A2B and she said that I should, does that mean that my school is definitely a partner school (I want to be 100% sure before trying to apply). Thanks.

Just check with them. If you can then you should and if you cant , you cant.
