Right so I’m trying to decide on what I’m going to take at sixth form. My main career goal is psychology but I want to keep my options open (I’m also interested in a political career).
    Do these choices sound okay?
Psychology, biology and modern history (and an EPQ)

That set of options is perfectly acceptable. You may want to consider swapping one of those (perhaps History) with Maths, which will extend your possibilities to a number of other STEM courses, Economics, and is a useful background to have for Psychology.

I guess they are all facilitator subjects so ok - keeps door open for most courses

Agree with poster above, stronger if they were all STEM subjects, so you swop history for Maths or Chemistry or perhaps even a BTEC in Applied Science but you would have to get a D* for the UCAS points so report writing would need to be a very strong skill set

Otherwise, keep working at it as it is, 3 straight A levels and a EpQ is a solid mix

Yup! Definitely great choices for Psych. Also, History is a strong option for politics so that's good too.
