Im doing a fairly long hospital placement for my course Ive been placed far away from where I live so have booked to stop in hospital accomodation for staff, i think its mainly for medical students. The website says their are 40 rooms for students and that there are shared bathroom facilities for each floor. Ive no idea how many people i'l be sharing with but my issue is Ive always been scared of catching norovirus/v and d bug lol. Id imagine if it was going to spread anywhere it would be among people regularly working on wards and sharing bathrooms.

Have any of you stopped in hospital accomodation before?

i know many doctors and medical students who live onsite. its similar to halls, at ours each flat has 3 rooms shared living room kitchen bathroom and toilet. there's a regular cleaner.

if its gonna spread anywhere it'll be the hospital where you're going to be on placement
