I recently attended a selection event at Liverpool Hope University for a primary PGCE. I was informed shortly after, via email, that the uni were happy with my performance and they felt I had what is needed to undertake the course at their university.

However they stated that they would not be able to give me a formal offer until I had completed my ucas application ( which I have now done ). I have still heard nothing from the university. Do I assume that I have the offer and it's just the paperwork that needs finalising or am I best to continue with my other university interviews?

I only ask as, if I can avoid taking unnecessary time off work and also putting myself through a stressful interview day I would prefer to ha

Thank you in advance for your time

    🙂 xx

I thought about that also, but we were advised by ucas not to contact any unis before the 8th Jan regarding decisions. I have been in contact with them to inform them that I'd completed the ucas process and booked my tests but had no response.

I don't want to look like a pest ha

If it's been a while since you sent that email it won't do harm sending a polite follow up

It s only been three days since I sent the email and five days since my full process was completed, but I need to know as soon as possible to let the other uni know and of course my employer.

I'll maybe leave it a few more days and then contact them again.

    Thank you xx
