So, Christmas is coming up in about 7 weeks and my university semester ends in about 5 and I'm looking at booking train tickets to go home.

At the start of the year I was thinking I'd just go home for a week or 2 as I have paid rent to stay here but now I'm really low on money and I'm thinking it might be best to just go home for the whole time (about a month).
However, I can see myself getting bored very quickly if I do this as like I said I have barley any money which means I won't be able to do much at home either..

My course's semester finishes on the 8th of December and starts again on the 8th of January so I have a full month off. I do have an assignment due in on the 17th of December though and it would probably be better for me to stay here to do that so I was thinking I could book a train ticket home for the 14th/15th and then come back on the 4th/5th so then I'd have time to get my assignment done and get my stuff packed before I go home and have a few days to unpack and settle back in before uni starts again when I get back.
This would give me 3 weeks at home and as I'd get my next student finance installment (I think) before I went back to uni I might be able to borrow some money from my parents so I could go out and do something a few times whilst I'm back home.
