I am currently doing a levels and am interested in applying for Sociology at UCL in the future. I went to a "well below average" secondary school with a very low percentage pass rate. Do I stand a chance of getting in to UCL with the following grades:

    A*A*AABBBCCC

I think the main thing would be what A Level results you get and are predicted. I know someone who went to KCL with 1 A, several Bs and a couple of Cs at GCSE but got AAA at A Level. Plus if you can really show your commitment to wanting to study Sociology in your personal statement, I still think you would have a good chance of an offer.

Congrats on your results. As long as you get great AS levels(if you're doing them) and great A-level predictions then you should be likely to get an offer.

As long as your A level predicted grades are AAB/ ABB you should be fine
