    Hey everyone!

I’m in year 10 and I used to have a best friend. Long story short she stuck by me and hated a lot of people who hated me. However I moved to a new school and sh completely fell out with me telling everyone I was a snake, I found out this was because the boy she liked liked me. I didn’t like him though, I never even talked to him properly before! I of course avoided the boy and tried to make amends because she was my best friend but at this point she turned most of my close friends and friends at my old school against me saying I said certain things about them which was clearly untrue but now all of my “friends” hate me. She’s also hanging around with my ex and his new girlfriend who hates me and has gotten my ex to turn against me. My ex was my best friend for years until I left him because I wasn’t being treated right, however I only joined this new school because of him.

So now I’m at a new school where all my close friends aren’t my friends anymore and my ex blanks me. It really annoys me to see my ex best friend to hang around with everyone she used to backchat so much about and my ex’s new girl is so smug about it too, always putting pictures of their little group up.

It’s now my gcse year and I don’t go out due to if I see anyone they’ll start on me, it’s hard to make new friends at this school since I don’t really fit in.

I just want to get my head down and do work but with all this drama around me I’m just so distracted right now. I’ve missed a lot of school so I need to prioritise my work over friendships; even though everyone hates me- but I just don’t know what to do. I seriously need reminders that all this is temporary.

Has anyone had similar experiences? Or have any good advice on how to block all these people and their bs rumours out?

    Many thanks.

Just take it easy and don't react to them. Move on and do your own thing and like you say it will be temporary and you'll have other things to worry about soon! Good luck
