    Operating system preference
    Windows

    8GB

    Minimum battery life
    6 hours

    Flexible

    Weight limit
    1-1.5kg

    No

    If yes, what games?
    -

    Touchscreen needed?
    No

Are there any specific ports you need?
    USB 3.0, headphone jack

What devices do you have currently?
Samsung laptop (broken), Android phone, iPad (not often)

My Samsung NP900X3C is no more (broken hinge -> broken screen). I paid about £1000 for it which caused some controversy on here when I got it 4 years ago because its performance isn't worth that, but it weighs 1.2kg which was pretty rare in a non-Macbook Air back then. Would still like something as light, but decent performance (i.e. can handle multiple windows open at once!) My Samsung has an i5 processor so I don't want to downgrade!

    Don't want:
    - Apple
    - The new tablet/laptop hybrid type thing.
    - Anything big and heavy.

Going to John Lewis tomorrow so ideally something I can get there!

    Hi there!

Extremely sorry for the late reply!

If you're not looking for gaming capabilities, then your budget doesn't have to be so high... Check out this laptop: https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/hp-2...ea/version.asp

It should be more than enough
