Hi, I’m currently studying at oxford Brookes University but I live in High Wycombe, near their University, sounds like a stupid question but can I go to the High Wycombe University student nights at their union as it’s closer to me? Or is that a big NO NO!! Lol

    Thanks

I dont actually know the answer. Contact NUS via twitter facebook , their form or phone. I always thought the affiliation was more political an individual to the uni. I'd be surprised if you cant sign yourself in at least.

    Ask their SU.

For mine you just need a student card to get in, it doesn't have to be the card for their university, I don't think it even has to be an NUS card.

That said you should also ask about +1s if you need them for friends who aren't students. Here you can usually get in a couple people with one student card (they still need normal IDs), but any more than a couple and they'll say no.

Almost certainly as a +1 as members of the public can get n that way.
If they have entry machines then your card is unlikely to work.
As yu are only interested in one uni then contacting them and asking would seen the quickest answer.

    HW is Buckinghamshre?

    Hi Allanahpea

I've just checked with our SU team, they have advised that students from other universities can gain entry our events by paying the guest entry fee. You will require your student ID card and a form of photographic ID. You can also be signed in by other students, but again will have to pay the guest fee.

If you have any other questions about this, please email [email protected].

    Thanks

    Laura
