How do you verbally express the relationship between the Name Allah amd Allah Himself? Are they One? Non-dual? Is the name just a representation? Is the name Allah an energy or attribute of Allah? Thanks.

Allah is Ismus-zaat, name of His being.
He has many attributive names also such as The Most Merciful etc.

I know that. I am asking does islam say what orthodox jews say, the name of God and God are one. Do they say what Christians say, the name of God is the energy of God. Do they say the name of God is nondifferent from God, like Hindus? Do they hold the position of buddhists that the name of Buddha and Buddha are nondual? I had one sunni teacher tell me that the name is just a name or representation and that Allah is Allah. A second Sunni teacher told me the Name of Allah IS Allah. Domyou understand what I am asking? Is the Name Allah an attribute of Allah or really is the Name Allah the same as Allah? How do you explain the relationship between the Name Allah and Allah Himself. I am confused because two Sunni teachers told me exactly opposite things. Thank you

I'm not too sure what your question is, I will give it more thought. However, I can answer this much right now that it is not an attribute.

A name is just a label:
(Original post by http://www.dictionary.com/browse/name?s=t)
a word or a combination of words by which a person, place, or thing, a body or class, or any object of thought is designated, called, or known.
