    If you want evidence for Continental Drift, look at the shape of South America and Africa, you can see where the two continents separated. Brazil would easily fit into the sea near nigeria

    Iceland, despite its name is actually not that icy but is rather green; Greenland how ever is more icy than green. The Vikings switched the names around to encourage people to live in Greenland

    Iceland, despite its name is actually not that icy but is rather green; Greenland how ever is more icy than green. The Vikings switched the names around to encourage people to live in Greenland

    The place where they first landed was (and actually is) quite green though. They landed in the scattered islands and fjordlands in the south where the ice sheet usually doesn't reach. Also, they landed during a period of time where the climate in Greenland may have been warmer than it is today.
