I only have A level biology and computer studies as my sciences. I have done enough research and found a couple of universities that accept students without A level chemistry. However, I was still wondering about the likelihood of being accepted into a uni that requires both biology and chemistry at A level.

If they ask for chemistry in their requirements then you have no chance of getting an offer as you dont do the required subjects that they want, you should either apply for unis that dont ask for a chem alevel, take a year out and do the chem alevel or do a foundation year

It is an unwritten rule that almost all universities would prefer it if you had chemistry at A level. Some universities say 2 sciences, but when I went to their open days they told me that they give preference to an applicant with BIOLOGY and CHEMISTRY.

There are many unis out there that don't need chemistry and lots have specific catch up modules for those who don't do chem A-level. Did you do chemistry GCSE? If not it'll probably be harder but should still be possible, as you do biochemistry in the biology A-level itself. I'm going to warwick this september with bio and not chem so it's definitely possible and they said on the applicant day that they always pay attention and give extra support to those who need it if they didn't do chem or maths
