# Expanding and Factorising Quadratics watch

1. So I’m revising for my mock exam coming up for maths and I can’t get my head around this specific topic, it may be really simple but I’m super blonde when it comes to maths.

Questions are:

1. “Factorise fully 2x^2 - 4xy”

2. “Factorise p^2 - 6p 8”

3. “Simplify
(x 2)^2
———-
x 2

Explanations on how to do them would be awesome, thanks!

1. Can you see a common factor in both terms? Pull them out. Hint: 2x

I have no idea what you've written for 2 and 3. What is 6p 8 and what is (x 2)^2?

You should typeset your questions sensibly in the future and also provide your own thoughts and workings.
