I want someone to tell me the best college or sixth form within birmingham?

I live in the solihull area so I don't want to travel to far, I've currently applied to Solihull sixth form (I have heard a few bad things about this sixth form) and Sutton college. But would like to know anymore colleges/sixth forms that have a good reputation for A level passes. I want to study any of the following: Law, Crimonology, Sociology, Psychology, Politics.

I go to JCC, and to be honest, I’m loving it so far. I do law and politics and both my teachers are incredible. It has a good ofsted report but I feel like it does have a bad rep socially. I think this is kinda unfair as, sure, there are a lot of roadmen and things but they are easily avoidable. I also really like how the day is organised

Out of solihull and jc, most people I know prefer JC, but then again the people from my school would fit the JCC atmosphere quite well, so its a bit of a biased view

There is definitely a range of ethnicities but I would say it is predominantly South Asian. Its also far from posh to be honest, but personally I really enjoy the laid back, chilled atmosphere that still prioritises academics.

If you don’t mind me asking, why did you dislike Solihull? So I can make a comparison as I also had an interview there and many of my friends go there

Just gonna give you a tip if you ever go to Solihull sixth form and do an art course at all. Do not listen to any of them when they predict your grade.

Bit off topic but this is useful advice.

Personally I find the jc atmosphere more friendly but it depends on whether or not you go out of your way to make an effort. It can be quite daunting, people are pretty loud and stuff, but in my opinion it’s great
