I'm currently a Year 12 student and in my GCSEs, I got 6A*s and 4As and an A in Additional Maths (an A is the highest you can get in additional maths).

A*s were in: Chemistry, Maths, Physics, RE, ICT and English Language
As were in: Biology, French, Business Studies and English Literature

Are these grades good enough for Medicine?
normally the people who get strong applications for medicine have 5-7+ A* grades
the A* in chem and Maths puts you in a very strong place
these will work in your favour when you apply to uni
    good job man!

Maybe not for Birmingham. They ask for 7/8 A*S. They could look at your GCSEs for shortlisting in other unis like Oxbridge.

It depends on the uni, as long as you don't pick a GCSE heavy uni (Cardiff, Birmingham) and you have good predicted grades and UKCAT/BMAT then you'll be absolutely fine
