I was seeing my boyfriend for about 3 weeks before we made it official and we've been together 3 months now (I'm almost 20 but at uni so living at home) and my mum is only just starting to be okay with me being out a lot -- i hardly ever went out, now i'm only home like 50% of the time. I told her the next day when we made it official and she had assumed we were together anyway. Keep seeing him and increasing how often you're out (don't do overnights till your a thing though) -- the latest i came home was about 2am and that was most of the time i went out -- and then, if anything happens, they'll already be adjusting to it.

Thanks for the advice! We haven’t been taking for long and we haven’t met up so I don’t know whether to just cut it off before I get in too deep. I mean yeah I really like him but I don’t know if I can deal with my parents, i can only explain it as feeling embarrassed about it with them.
