I’m in year 11 and I’ve applied to go to college next September. However I’m really struggling with GCSEs tbh. All of my friends are predicted really high grades and sometimes it just gets me down that I’m predicted so low. I really want to do well in mocks and the real exams but I’m really struggling to focus on revision and in class, I have no idea where to start with revision... I’m doing all my core subjects and child d, German. Hospitality, philosophy and ethics and then geography as my options.

You have to remember, the more time
You put into the work the Better you will get at it. When I done my GCSEs I was worrying about getting a bad score, then I realised I was not putting enough time and revision into the topics and the anxiety was because of this reason, your brain knows to do good it has to revise and even if you think you have done enough work your brain knows you haven’t,

Hiya!! First don’t compare yourself to others, I personally spent so much time doing this, and it just wastes time and gets you down. Your best is the best. Revision will come easier soon and the thing to think about is last year and what you might’ve found difficult (different topics) and start there. Year 10 is just as important as Year 11. Just remember to have ‘you time’ in your schedule, your health and happiness is just as important as the grades you get. Hope this helps
