Unsurprisingly, Bilic is sacked. David Moyes rumoured to replace him. Only won 2 of their 11 PL games this season.

Moyes a bit of an uninspiring appointment imo.. but would be a typical West Ham move.

Get big sam in!! Moyes is a perennial failure look at sunderland and real sociedad. He had 1 good season at everton in ten years does not deserve another PL job.

Exactly. What has Moyes done recently that suggests he can take West Ham where they need to get to. So many talented younger managers out there they could take a chance on and find themselves the next Poch, but instead they are going for someone they know that the limit of their talents is where West Ham should really be.

Based on each of his (unsuccessful to say the least) stints in management since Everton, David Moyes is definitely not going to turn their fortunes around. I know people go on about fans wanting the 'West Ham Way' despite not knowing what it is, but it definitely isn't Moyes's way of playing. It's probably closer to Frank de Boer or Ronald Koeman's style of play and they're both available and much more ambitious.

I like Bilic as a manager, he did a decent job at Croatia and Besiktas but him leaving was best for both parties (Slavan will get a fresh challenge elsewhere and West Ham's hierachy clearly wanted him out for a while). He overachieved in his first season at West Ham, then his best player downed tools and his signings this summer have failed to gel.

Bit of a shame hes gone- as a Palace fan I liked him and he really did seem to love the club. Really dont understand the appointment of Moyes when Koeman is available- even Pardew is better surely?!

If it's Moyes at West Ham & Allardyce at Everton...
the match on 29 Nov will be VERY awkward.

What makes West Ham think Moyes will keep them up after his failure to do exactly that with Sunderland? Sure, there were wider issues at the latter but his public comments were woeful with the negativity seeping out of him on a regular basis, not forgetting the occasional sexism. He's probably got a slightly better quality of players to work with yet the issues with the squad, London Stadium will still exist.

Depressing to hear Big Sam might take over at Everton over Dyche and it was only last week Sam was moaning about the 'lack of jobs for British manager'. Well, who cares about British managers when you can nab yourself a prestigious club?

Although i dont agree with West Ham appointing Moyes, Sunderland were practically a championship side last year, whereas West Ham have the squad for top eight with a good manager
