Oxbridge Admissions Tutor Role

Does an Oxford/Cambridge Admission tutor at a certain college review applications from ALL courses? Or are there specific people in the admissions commitee who are specialized at looking at, say, only Engineering applications & Engineering personal statements?
As far as I know, the admissions tutors are specific to each faculty, but they also represent certain colleges. I think, the process works in terms of the colleges though, as for the medical applicants for each college are reviewed by a Medical Admissions tutor along with a college faculty tutor...
But genuinely, there isn't a clear understanding for most non-Oxbridge students about the whole process except for the shortlisting which happens through academic achievements. And those who are good enough but are not suited to a specific college are passed onto the pool of Medical applicants in my example. Then other colleges will pick and choose in order to find suitable applicants.

It's both: the AT will look at all the files in the College, but they will also be reviewed by specialists in each area.

Not at Cambridge. Underigraduate Admission is entirely a responsibility of each college, not of faculties. Every college has their own admission tutor/s who oversees all applications/ admission to their college only.

Depends on a college.
Some colleges have an admission tutor who overseas all applications to their college for all courses.
Some colleges have two admission tutors, one in charge of applications for maths/sciences, the other for arts/humanities subjects.

As per Vincrows regarding Cambridge. In addition each course at each college has a Director of Studies (DoS). The DoS is responsible for their subject. So the AT works with each subject DoS to review applicants. Plus the subject interviewers too.

Although they focus on the applicants to their college they can also see data about all the applicants across all colleges for each subject.

Usually decisions are jointly made by each DoS and the AT.
