Hello, I am an EU national. I want to move to the UAE from the UK. Basically, my question is - What is your perception of life in Dubai? What do you like or dislike? I've been thinking going there as an expat

I got no questions unfortunately, dubai is a shithole, full of materialistic stuck-up people - both the locals and the expats.

Tic toc. Electrickery is coming.

Life is amazing. If you plan to live in Dubai(one of the cities in UAE), you'll get an environment that somewhat is similar to the Western countries. Other cities are somewhat calmer and quieter. I like to say that Dubai is the New York of UAE. If I have to write down every single thing I like about Dubai, it'll get lengthy. But like every city in the world and perhaps more because of difference in interests, there are a few things that are not on my favorites list, especially the heat in summer
