First and foremost, something that grabs the readers attention. You want to be able to engage your audience right off, so that they want to stay with you. No one reads a book if the opening doesn't grab their attention (unless they've been forced to read it by their teacher). It doesn't really matter how you do, just try and make it your own and you will get marked up for it.
