would maths, physics and biology be alright as a trio like do physics and bio kinda clash/do they make sense as a sciencey pair (excuse the phrasing)

also, we can pick a fourth (and a fifth but i doubt it’ll be a good choice/manageable) subject and i’m thinking of either taking psychology, english lit, F maths (if my gcses are good enough) or art or something

Whilst physics and bio are an unusual pair (you typically see bio with chemistry) it should be perfectly alright. In regards to your fourth choice, pick something you enjoy as most universities do their offers based on three a-levels, I wouldn't recommend the further maths though as there can be issues with it being seen as a stand alone A-level (from what I've heard anyway)

I would consider the reaons why you dislike it? Often times it's one bad teacher who puts you off a subject, when really you can enjoy the subject and are quite good at it if you change your mindset.
