So a lot of us are starting our first year of uni in 2018 and I know that I'm going to reflect even more when it's around April/May, but I was just wondering how everyone's feeling so far? How strong-willed do you think you are, and how fazed or influenced do you feel you will be by some of the pressures that come with university life?

Don't worry, allow yourself to be lost, make mistakes, have fun, as well as learning at uni it's all about learning to be independent and well that first year is pretty much freedom. I'm in my final year and I don't regret it, if you lose yourself towards the end you'll be a better you anyway, so don't stress and have fun!

Thank you so much for your reply! It was actually quite uplifting. I get what you're trying to say, I really do, but I also know there are certain things/values that I would really REALLY like to maintain and feel it might be hard to do so in that environment, if you get me?

Ah I see, I get what you mean, a lot of people drop their values when they're in first year because everyone's doing it, whatever it is. Thing is a lot of people are a lot more mature when you get to uni and they usually respect you for it. I wouldn't worry too much about it
