To keep it short, is that a bad idea? I do Lit so have the whole week off, and was originally just gonna stay from Sunday - Thursday, but kinda wanna stay till Saturday, to be able to see friends, enjoy being at home, get work done w/o much distraction (i live in a v v quiet area).
Do you think it's bad to be gone from the flat that long? This is week 6 of 10, if that makes a difference

Not really. A lot of my friends went home on their reading week.

I think if you're only missing one weekend you'll be fine. If you're in catered accommodation or otherwise eat together then it might be a bit more of a problem, but otherwise not much happens on weekdays so you won't miss out on much.

Alternatively your flat could spend the whole week going out and you'll miss out quite a lot, but that's a risk you'll have to take.

Some of them are going out tomorrow night but that's about it...most of them don't even get a reading week so will be in lectures anyway. I live in self-catered halls, and this is the first time I've been home
