I am applying for nursing next year and hoping to get into Queens Belfast. However, I have been told that in my statement I must include which type of nursing I am interested in. Either adult, children's or mental health etc. However, last year Queens gave me an offer whenever I did not include the type of nursing I just refered to nursing as general.

Does anyone know if I should include a specific type of nursing this time round?

    Thanks

Go with what has been suggested by the unis you're applying to as they will be reviewing your application. Also if the course is general then you may get away with not mentioning specialties but if it's a specialist course then you need to talk about the specialty.

I am applying for adult nursing, so do you think I could just leave it as taking about nursing in general or should I put in adult nursing instead?

    Thanks

In that case you need to talk about adult nursing.
