I am currently an undergraduate studying Biomedical Science- Are there any useful websites or contacts that would be useful when searching for a summer placement for work experience within a laboratory ? - or something similar. Finding it difficult to find relevant placements! - Preferably within London

Unis are a good place to start. Ask around your dept and see if anyone can help. It may be unpaid and you can't afford to be picky. You may also want to check out learned societies, New Scientist and Nuffield. Hospitals may also be willing to help.

Ask your University and contact directly.

You'll find it difficult and any few places that are available will be competitive. The vast majority of places go to Healthcare Science students so if there are any of those courses in your area you'll find it nearly impossible.
