failed today with 1 major and 1 minor

really don't want to spend more money and time on this. I've rebooked for 12th December but i'm looking for a cancellation for sooner.

Minor was for knocking the kerb as I pulled up.

Major was a bit annoying and sort of unfair i thought.
I was driving down a road with lots of parked cars on the right. I saw roadworks with traffic lights. I stopped about 10 metres away from the traffic lights and there are parked cars pretty much all the way down the road on the right. I failed because the cars couldn't get through... but I can't see anything else I really could've done. In the end I had to pull up on the grass verge to let the parked cars through ((((((

anyway just sharing my experience guys wbu?

you probably should have anticipated this and stopped further back.

i failed first time, as i pulled out on a country road that was safe to do so a car came round the corner and decided to overtake me and as technically i changed the way another driver drove I failed. passed second time with a couple of minors.

I haven't sat my test yet so I can't add my own experience but I just wanted to wish you best of luck for your next test :hugs: I've failed tests in life away from driving and I know exactly how deflated you feel right now but stick in, you will no doubt pass the next test :yep:

    Damn!

I remember replying to your thread yesterday as well

I hope you get a cancellation test soon, but seeing the new test rolls out on the 4th Dec everyone is going to be trying hard to get a slot before as well.

You've spent a lot of money already, so you may as well keep on going otherwise all those previous lessons would go to waste!

    That's frustrating.

Well, you were very, very close to passing and I'm very confident you'll pass in your next test.

Good luck for your next driving test.

Don’t worry about it, it happens, don’t let anybody tell you they’re better then you because they’ve passed first time, just means they were lucky on the day. I have failed my first 2 tests with 1 serious each and 4 minors and they were very stupid as one guy pulled out on me causing me to react badly, and then the next a bloody bus pulled into my line when he shouldn’t of, today I passed 3rd time with no minors so you will have your day!!!

If I'm honest barely anyone passes first time now. At least you've got the experience knowing what you'll be going into, but won't you be taking the test with the new spec? E.g following the Satnav
