So now it's November and Christmas drinks are out in coffee shops, Christmas music is playing and adverts are on TV :santa2:

When do you think it's acceptable to start wearing Christmas clothes and accessories? Vote in the poll! :tree:

Have you bought some or even wearing some already? :snowflake:

I have some candy cane earrings I really want to wear soon

I'd say a few days before Christmas - i.e. 22nd/23rd/24th December. Hence I voted for Christmas Day as that's the closest I could find

The end of November/start of December is a bit too early methinks, though personally you won't see me wearing Christmas clothes on any day of the year.

I've said start of December in the poll, though last year I did wear my Santa Claus dress at a late November uni event :ninja: My PhD supervisor was seriously bemused by it

No idea when it's 'acceptable' but I'm pretty sure I ended up wearing a Christmas shirt in the middle of July, whoops

Whenever you fancy - be it throughout the year or in December who cares when it is socially acceptable. No one should dictate or influence when you wear something - only you do :yep:

Start of december, if it is not Santa's clothes. If it is, Christmas is the only day which comes into question.

I have no idea when it became cringe to celebrate Christmas. Must be those people who don't celebrate Christmas. Wear your cute jumpers whenever you want 😆

Is that Christmas day only? I feel like it's an expensive thing to buy for only one day a year

25 June - if you're in the Falkland Islands. Seasonal weather is opposite to the northern hemisphere and the Brits based down there like to have a white Christmas so they celebrate FIXmas (Falkland Islands Xmas) on 25 June!
