    Hi,

So basically I recently went for a job interview for like an entry level computing job. Place wasn't too bad and was like really close to home - a geographical area that I know only too well! I am young but I hate long commutes for some reason - it's not my kind of thing I suppose, which I learnt from my first job.

Anyways, I was told by HR at the time that if I was offered a job then they would have to negotiate compensation and a salary - as at the time it didn't state the salary they were willing to pay.

Anyways, I obviously wanted to get paid more than my last workplace. So how should I play it if I get offered a job?

I am in a similar position. How flexible are they with salary and benefits? I'd say definitely use your USPs to validate why you should be paid more than an average graduate.
