Looking for something affordable as student halls are around £200 per week and having my own bathroom is a must (no judging please). I'm illegible for student maintenance but one of my parents won't help me out (even though he can afford to).

Unless you move out to like zone 6 you're unlikely to find much cheaper than 200 a week especially if you want your own bathroom. Have a look on spareroom but be prepared for around that price

Well it's the same as going anywhere, Even when I was at uni at a small town in the north west rent was still £400 a month. Without student maintenance you're going to struggle massively.. you might have to take a few years out to save up..

Affordable accommodation in London? Isn't that like trying to find a cheap solution to space exploration?

It's gonna be difficult coz even the low end dumpsters have tramps rioting over them!

Well then you will have to either compromise on not having your own bathroom or convince your other parent to help out. You cant have everything when on a tight budget in the most expensive city in the uk
